What is JustGiving
JustGiving is a fantastic, simple, safe way to raise a significant amount of money without leaving your chair! It's fast and easy to do and once you've emailed your page to all your friends and family and asked them to donate you don't even have to collect the money! Anyone can donate with a debit or credit card from anywhere in the world. JustGiving sends your donations straight to us and reclaims up to 25% extra Gift Aid automatically on our behalf.
How To Set Up Your Page
1. Go to http://www.justgiving.com/transaid/donate/
2. Click on 'Make your page' and fill in your details
3. Choose the type of event you are doing
4. That's it! Make sure you personalise your page with photos and updates
Share Your Page
The more you tell people about your page the more donations you will get!
1. Email the link to all of your friends and family asking them to donate
2. Also ask them to forward you email to their friends and family
3. Put the link on your email signature and on your facebook page
4. Keep eveyone updated - you never know some people might donate twice!
